How do we meet?
My practice is done via telehealth using a secure video platform. I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or video to see if we will work well together. We can schedule our first therapy session when we meet, or we can set it up over email. We will meet on a frequency that works for you.

What do I need?
All you need is a comfortable, quiet space, good internet connection and a smart phone, tablet, laptop or personal computer.

What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel your appointment please contact me as soon as possible. If it is less than 24 hours notice I will need to charge the full fee on the scheduled appointment date for the missed session.

What will it cost and how do I pay?

Psychotherapy: A 50-minute session is $175, and I accept payment through Zelle and Venmo. You will be charged after our session on the same day that we meet.

Clinical Supervision: A one hour supervision session is $125.

Advance Care Planning: A one-hour meeting to have a conversation about your wishes and values, and to document those in an Advance Directive document is $125.

Consultation: Consultation to help your organization develop and implement a process for Advance Care Planning is $125 - $175 per hour depending on the scope.

Do you take insurance?
I am approved to take insurance through the following platforms:

These platforms will confirm your coverage, schedule your first appointment, and handle all insurance billing.

If you have any other PPO policy, I am considered an out-of-network provider, and your plan may provide partial reimbursement for our sessions. Please check directly with your insurer to get more information. You will be responsible for payment on the day of service, and I can provide you with a “superbill“ that you can submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement to you.

What platforms do you use and how do you keep my information private?
I use Google Suite’s HIPAA compliant platform for record keeping, video, email and text communication, and billing. All of your information is secure and confidential.

What are your credentials?
I am a clinical social worker, licensed to see clients in the state of California (LCSW). I have Bachelor of Psychology and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Michigan. I am also a certified Respecting Choices® Advance Care Planning facilitator.

Good Faith Estimate Information:

As a requirement of the federal No Surprises Act you are entitled to a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ of charges if you are uninsured or aren’t planning to submit a claim to your insurance for therapy services.
