We will work together to identify your goals, understand how you operate, and define clear next steps every time we meet. I will help you explore your life experiences, and will gently challenge you to be open to new ways of thinking and coping, in order to develop resilience for the ups and downs of life’s journey.

I believe that relationships are the foundation for joy and satisfaction. Understanding ourselves and how we relate to others is the key to finding and growing that joy. 

I want to get to know you and come to a mutual understanding of your goals for engaging in therapy. From there I will use a variety of approaches that fit best. Often this is a combination of Client Centered, Strength-Based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. There is no one approach, just like there is no one answer to how to make progress and start feeling better. Our work together will focus on what is important to you, and how your unique strengths and perspective can form the basis for developing skills and coping mechanisms to handle the challenges and transitions of life.
